Discover the history of Marbella Old Town
Marbella Old Town preserves some of the most important traces left behind by the different cultures that have shaped the city over the centuries.
During this guided tour of Marbella, your guide will take you through squares, streets, historic buildings and the remains of ancient fortifications while explaining how the city has evolved over time.
This is not simply about visiting monuments. We want you to understand what happened in these places, who lived here and why they remain important to Marbella today.
The relaxed pace of the tour gives you time to notice the details, ask questions and enjoy a more personal experience, without the rush often associated with large tour groups.

Much more than a walk through Marbella town centre
It is easy to walk around Marbella Old Town on your own. The difficult part is knowing what you are actually looking at.
Behind an old wall, a small chapel, the layout of a street or a seemingly quiet square are stories that reveal what Marbella was like centuries before it became one of the Mediterranean’s best-known tourist destinations.
Our Marbella history tour has been created precisely to uncover those stories.
Your guide will provide historical context, share local curiosities and help you spot details that can easily go unnoticed when exploring the city independently.
